Bitcoin dominance, or BTC dominance, is measured as the rate of the request capitalization of bitcoin to that of the rest of the cryptocurrency market. Some crypto investors and dealers use bitcoin dominance as a companion to acclimate their trading strategies and portfolio structures.

In simple terms, request capitalization refers to the total value of a particular asset in rotation. For bitcoin, the request cap is calculated by multiplying the current price and the number of BTC that has been booby-trapped so far.
